The Tyrannosaurus Rex looked very threatening, but could not take advantage of its front legs, which only had two claws that did not reach up to his mouth. With a height of almost seven meters and a length of nearly thirteen meters, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was not a very good hunter, but a scavenger that fed on what other animals left. He had over fifty teeth with a length of more than 15 centimeters. He did not use his teeth to chew, but rather to tear because he swallowed his food in large pieces. To improve depth perception in the foraging, the eyes of the Tyrannosaurus Rex faced forward, so that the sight of both eyes overlapped. With small quills and large spots on its back, this dinosaur was quite a sight. The Gigantosaurus had three claws on each of its short front legs and fed on herbivores. Scientists suspect that the Gigantosaurus was able to run very fast thanks to its thin tail which it held upright. Named after an Aztec deity, the Quetzalcoatlus was the largest airworthy animal ever found. With an impressive wingspan of nearly thirteen meters, this reptile had a long neck and head, and nearly three meter long legs. This reptile, covered with a light fur, had the physique of a bird - with hollow bones and powerful wings, and was able to look for food, wading in the water. Despite its size, the Quetzalcoatlus probably only weighed about 100 kg. According to research from skeletal remains, the Kentrosaurus was a herbivore. The Kentrosaurus were relatives of the Stegosaurus. However, the Kentrosaurus had a body length of about 5 meters and their plates and spines were arranged in pairs on their back and tail. These plates and spikes were likely used to defend themselves against enemies or during courtship. The most notable characteristic of this 18-metre-high, carnivorous dinosaur was a long line of spines connected by skin along its back. This dangerous carnivore weighed several tons and could be up to 17 metres long! The Spinosaurus had many sharp, straight teeth in a crocodile-like mouth. His meals usually consisted of other dinosaurs or fish. The smartly designed sail on his back fulfilled several functions. It probably helped the cold-blooded dinosaurs to vital temperature regulation by collecting or distributing heat. It also served to impress potential mating partners. Fun Fact This dinosaur with a crocodile-like head probably fed on fish and carrion.

Pretty dangerous and pretty cute. Four little dinosaurs, two robbers and two herbivores. One must not mistake the small ones, the teeth of the small T-Rex and Spinosaurus are already pretty long and quite sharp. A small Triceratops and a young Saichania are almost as defensive as their parents and all four are surely determined to fight. But they are just too sweet. Dinosaur figure T Rex with a very realistic and durable design. A great collection of the Dino family. An always loved gift to your little ones. Tyrannosaurus Rex: ("tyrant King Lizard") was a large theropod dinosaur. The animal was a carnivore (meat-eater), and lived in North America and Asia during late Cretaceous period, about 67 to 65 million years ago. It was one of the last dinosaurs, and probably went extinct during the cretaceous-tertiary mass extinction. An average Tyrannosaurus was about 39 feet (11.9 meters) long, up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) tall, and weighed around 7 tone. The largest known Tyrannosaurus fossil specimen, yet found, is 42 feet (12.8 meters) long, nicknamed "Sue", and exhibited at the field museum of natural history in Chicago, Illinois. The first Tyrannosaurus ever found, was found by barnum brown in 1902 in Montana. Until the mid-1990s, it was generally thought that Tyrannosaurus was the largest land predator ever. Then, scientists discovered Giganotosaurus which lived was a 45 feet (13.8 meter) long carnivore that lived in Argentina about 100 million years ago. New research, first published in 2006, now suggests that Spinosaurus may have been even larger still: up to 51 feet (17 meters) long. Since the 1960S, some scientists have argued that Tyrannosaurus was not a fearsome predator, but a slow-moving scavenger, that fed on carcasses killed by other carnivores. However, other scientists argue that the possibility of binocular vision (Tyrannosaurus Rex has two forward facing eyes), and the relatively large areas of the brain Associated with sight and smell, suggest it must have been an active predator. This dinosaur measures approximately 21 cm from nose to tail and is approximately 16 cm tall. And it has a moveable jaw also, for more interactive play. A life like rendition of dinosaurs for any child who is enthusiastic about all things dinosaur. More dinosaur figures with deAO.
