Here we have four (4) early SADF pattern 70/73 olive green canvas webbing belt clips or "spiders" used to make up a skeleton webbing (or "jippo" webbing) aka lightweight patrol order belt-kit. The "spiders" attach to a std width web-belt and make attachment points for the shoulder harness or yoke to help carry the weight of ammo and water - especially liked and used by reaction force troops that wanted to move fast (carry minimal weight!). These loose patt 70/73 smaller items are always scarce and difficult to obtain. Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. All velcro tabs and fasteners are PRESENT & FUNCTIONING PERFECTLY.A rare example of SADF Niemoller pattern series of webbing, this A53 Radio Bag, has undergone slight modifications by the original owner.The spare pouches for batteries and the shoulder strap configuration have been removed - with belt loops having been attached to fit onto a standard SADF Patt.83 Web Belt.The material is in good order, the waterproof lining is still INTACT. Here we have on auction a mint unused/ unissued patt 70/73 shotgun ammo (25 loops) waist web-belt in std SADF patt 70/73 style olive green canvas and with adjustment tabs at both ends. Max size adjustment as is is 42 inches waist (but one would be able to join two such belts to make a larger set-up if needed by making both as short as possible and then joining the 2 using the opposing buckles and then again adjusting to the required size).
