Full vintage SADF patrol webbing with accessories. I would date this old webbing to the 1970s. It is a full patrol webbing with 4 R1 ammunition pouches, 2 dixies and a ground sheet with cover. The webbing is in fair used condition - all buckles and press studs are intact, but there is some usage wear. Great buy. Here we have four (4) early SADF pattern 70/73 olive green canvas webbing belt clips or "spiders" used to make up a skeleton webbing (or "jippo" webbing) aka lightweight patrol order belt-kit. The "spiders" attach to a std width web-belt and make attachment points for the shoulder harness or yoke to help carry the weight of ammo and water - especially liked and used by reaction force troops that wanted to move fast (carry minimal weight!). These loose patt 70/73 smaller items are always scarce and difficult to obtain. Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. Scarce green canvas binocular pouch for the SADF issued  Patt 73 webbing set. Smaller than the patrol bag, it can also be carried on the front D rings of the shoulder yoke. Excellent original condition as pictured, stud, clips and strap intact. Tracked postage is R60.00.
