I have a Sommer Opus 1 SP jumping saddle with deep seat, great for horses with a big jump,17,5”, Black with adjustable calve rolls. The saddle is machine adjustable. The saddle has hardly been used so is in very good condition. Just a tiny nick on the pommel and slight scuffs where the stirrup leathers go. New these saddles go for R. Price is R unfitted so does not include the stirrup leathers and girth in the pictures.

Sire: Hakahana Akito (SAW) Dam: Stochholm Starlight (Basotho) Height: approximately 15.2/15.3 Loves to jump, is friendly on the ground and an easy/uncomplicated horse. Has just come in from the veld for schooling. Is quite green but not at all difficult. Would suit a confident rider with some experience. Not a complete beginners horse (yet) but not mean. just inexperienced. Ridden photos are from his first day under saddle in 3+ months, the type of horse you can leave out for weeks and hop onto with no issues/freshness/spookyness. Is careful with his feet and jumps paddock fences to stand with his herd. Will jump beautifully with more schooling. Has been to practice prelim dressage shows and jumped small jumps under saddle. No time wasters, no home leases.

Whisper's for Waldo is a lovely 150cm 7yo gelding. Shows a good jump and do crosses in lessons but not schooled to jump or have much experience in it. Lovely to ride, exceptionally lovely soft canter and easy to handle. He is not spooky and does outrides. Waldo can sometimes try to protest when he has to continue a lesson alone and others get saddled off, but nothing a single smack cant fix. He works perfectly fine in the front of a class and at the back he will follow the line. Boxes easy and barefoot. He has an up to date passport and works with a 5yo kid in the school currently that he gave the first canter experience to. He would be an ideal general purpose/hack pony for a kid that can ride a little and is not to weak in the arms. He is easy to get into a canter but the smaller kids use a crop due to their legs not reaching over the saddle flap. Waldo does not fight in the paddock and easy to keep.
