Rothco's MA-1 Flight Jacket is a great cold-weather jacket  which features solid construction, a ribbed collar and cuffs, a 100% nylon water-repellent outer shell, a poly fiberfill lining to keep you warm, 4 front stash pockets, and a utility pouch on the sleeve. Most cold weather jackets tend to be thick and bulky, but Rothco's Flight Jacket is based off of the original military design, which was intended to give pilots a free range of movement. This jacket is to stay active in and doesn't restrict your movement. In addition to these features, the MA-1 Flight Jacket also offers the benefit of a fully reversible orange lining which was originally designed to make spotting downed American pilots easier by rescue crews. It still serves that same purpose, should you ever be in a situation where you'd like to be easily seen.
