Experience in Road construction (Gravel, Road upgrade, asphalt) 2. managing more than one project at atime 3. cash flow on weekly basis. 4.Works programme submitted to accountant weekly. 5. Expenditure recorded per site. 6. liase with client and engineers. 7. Liase with labourers. 8.Highly computer iliterate. 9.Work over time and weekends if there is need. 10. Planning in advance weekely. 11.BOQ pricing, Tendering knowledge. 12.ECSA registered. Qualifications Minimun NQF level 5 civl engineering/QS or equvalent. ECSA registered Minimum 10 Years experience. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Engineers Representative on site. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards. Coordinate and supervise the contractors work, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines. Manage site instructions, technical queries, and progress reporting. Attend regular site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control documentation. Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering support on-site. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA Essential. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with a strong focus on road construction and rehabilitation. Proven experience in managing site teams and large-scale infrastructure projects. Sound knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and construction contracts (e.g., GCC, FIDIC). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Apply now!
