A Cape Town based agency responsible for some very lucrative and global projects (stand outs include verification apps) are looking for an experienced mid to senior level developer to join their team. Someone who’d be able to hit the ground running, happy to work in a team and has experience working with the likes of Django, HTML, JQuery and someone keen to push into some very challenging development work is required. Requirements • Must have experience (3+ years) in one or more of Python, PHP; • If you develop for the web in some other language/framework (Rails, CGI, Perl) that will certainly count. • Must have strong Object-Oriented programming experience. • Must understand the MVC concept. • Experience with Python web frameworks an advantage (Django, Turbogears, Pylons, etc.). • Good understanding of HTML and CSS. • Relational Database Design. • Version control systems.

You get the full stack development experience from the frontend all the way to the backend/database. You are not limited in your actions, this means if you have to set up a VM to accomplish a task (even if you have never set up one before) then you do it. Total ownership of the product and your clients. The platform is challenging as working on multi-tenant systems brings with it complex issues, but also creative solutions. A senior team that expects self-managing individuals that can hit the ground running.
