The Singularity - Multicolor LED Watch - ELIZ-G86 Introducing The Singularity, a red and yellow LED dress watch from the future which manifests infinite coolness by rewriting the rules of how temporal data (time) should be displayed. Even though The Singularity symbolizes Feynmanian style and boldly go design with its vector red and yellow LEDs encased in reflective onyx hues (like Starship Troopers going Defcon One on The Bugs!), this Japanese LED watch does in fact tell the time and does so really efficiently too! Tap the display button on the right side of the timepiece and watch the screen light up. In Time mode, the vertical column represents hour information in binary code. The horizontal row represents minute information also in binary code. In Date mode, the vertical column represents the month, and the horizontal row represents the day of the month, in binary code. You decide whether you want the watch to display the time randomly (every 10 minutes or so) or only show the time when you tap the button. How's that for c as in e=mc squared coolness? In fact, when you start wearing this watch you may find yourself spending all your time writing strange mathematical equations across black boards. Yes, The Singularity LED Watch has been known to increase its wearers' IQ by a googol order or two. Archimedes and Sir Isaac Newton were said to have each owned one and Marie Curie, winner of not one but two Nobel Prizes loved her Singularity watch dearly. In reality, this watch is perfect for aXXo, fans of the Torchwood British TV series, fans of the JPOP supergroup Perfume, The Twitterati, The Illuminati, or anybody who is a somebody. Starting from the most right position and moving leftward, each binary place value corresponds to the decimal number, namely and so on. There are only two binary numerals: 0 and 1. Binary 0 means you don't add the decimal place value. Binary 1 means you do add the decimal place value to your running count. As such if you wanted to represent the decimal number 10 in binary, you would write (There is a binary digit of 1 in the "2" and "8" decimal number positions. Therefore, the sum of "2" and "8" is "10"). If this is difficult to understand, Wikipedia is also a good resource for understanding binary numbers. * Press the top button to display the time on demand or else the watch will by default automatically flash the time every 6-10 minutes (this feature can be turned off). * This watch is not waterproof Package Contents * Red and Yellow LED Watch * User Manual - English * Attractive Gift Box Frequently Asked Questions * How do I change the time and date on this watch? Press the lower button on the right side of the watch. This will cause the current setting to blink. Continue pressing the lower button until you arrive at the setting you want to change. Next, press the top button to change the information. * What type of batteries does this watch use? This Japanese LED watch uses two CR watch batteries. Other names this type of battery goes by are button cell, silver button cell, or coin cell batteries. * How long will the batteries last? The batteries should last longer than with a normal watch since time and date information is only displayed when you want. * Why is this watch called The Singularity? Singularities are examples of extreme instances where the classical rules of physics get thrown out the door. For example, objects with infinite mass and zero volume. Overall, singularities are infinitely fascinating. As are the wearers of this watch.

Cry Analyzer' Provides Clues To Babies' Health 'I've nursed you, I've burped you, I've changed you, I've rocked you, I've cuddled you, I've entertained you with toys and faces... WHY WON'T YOU STOP CRYING?' Ah, the daily refrain. We've got the solution to this problem. It's called the Why Cry Baby Crying Analyzer, an electronic monitor that claims to be able to accurately identify why a baby is crying approximately 90% of the time. That success rate skyrockets to 98% when used according to the manufacturer: Babies cry for different reasons (wet diaper, tired, hungry, scared, etc.). This sound sensitive device is programmed to recognize different pitches and then digitally analyze and summarized them in 20 seconds and transmit the baby’s cry into one of five simple expressions - hungry, bored, annoyed, sleepy or stressed. The Why Cry also has displays for unit readiness, analysis indicator error, low battery, room temperature and room humidity. WhyCry is a handheld portable monitor which identifies babies’ moods by analysing common indicators in their cries. When placed next to a cot, the unit can tell if a baby is stressed, annoyed, bored, sleepy or hungry by converting its cries into digital sound waves which are quickly analysed against hundreds of samples stored in its memory. A reading is given within 20 seconds. Hospitals’ research has proven the monitor to be 98 per cent accurate when results are crosschecked with a checklist of babies’ body language, which comes with the product. WhyCry is designed as a guide to reassure parents rather than replace important natural instincts, which develop over time. It was created by a first-time dad and engineer who was frustrated at not knowing why his son was crying. After five years of research he was able to identify common themes within babies’ cries, such as energy, frequency, pitch, breathing and cycle. His creation, WhyCry, is already hugely popular in America and Asia and currently used in 22 countries worldwide. It is recommended by the Spanish Association of Midwives, and has accreditations from California University and the Paediatric Society of Japan. It has also been verified by hospitals worldwide including Spain and Canada. Dr Jose Rabano, who assessed the product for the General Hospital of Catalonia in Barcelona said: 'WhyCry is a valid instrument to aid the early stimulation and the emotional development of the baby from their first days of life.' This new and redesigned version of the product features a smaller unit with digital display including mood, humidity, and room temperature. Ideal for first time parents and carers, hearing impaired parents and carers, training purposes in creches and day nurseries. Advantages of the Why Cry Baby Crying Analyzer - Baby will be understood and attended to correctly. - Parents have more time to enjoy their baby. - Parents' learning and understanding processes are heightened. - Other caregivers (grandparents, babysitters) will become more capable of tending to the baby's needs. - Improves baby care capabilities for people with hearing loss or are deaf.
