(South African Light Horse) The same Regiment in which Winston Churchill served after his escape during the Boer War. Adlard Died of Wounds at Mooirivier in Natal on 31 January 1900.(see scans from www.AngloBoerWar.com) Adlard's initials are incorrect on his QSA.(Named as "W"). The naming has rub marks 26541 Farrier Jas Jos Lagorie SALH died in hospital at Kroonstad on 24 December 1901. The casualty roll has his father's number as this was lightly entered under his correct service number on August 17, 1904 roll
