Silver colour badge in first two photos only. So far, I just can't find out which badge this is, or even one single other image of this badge on the net. It is genuine it seems, what is this badge ?. Nobody can tell me. The original owner is no longer alive, so I can't ask him. It was collected in Zimbabwe. It is similar to the Prince Alfred's Guard badge in the third image. The fourth image is that of a Zulu shield. So it seems to be South African. There were quite thick pieces of bare copper wire cut off from the clasps. I would think it is anything pre-1950. Feel free to let me know. As per photos. Sold as is.

Johannesburg (Gauteng)
Subtitle: What Next? Author: Prince Mashele And Mzukisi Qobo Publisher: Picador Africa () ISBN-10: ISBN-13: Condition: Very Good Binding: Softcover Pages: 228 Dimensions: 23.4 x 15.5 x 2 cm +++ by Prince Mashele And Mzukisi Qobo +++ Political governance in South Africa has collapsed. Scandals of corruption, evidence of nepotism, rampant maladministration in provinces, incompetence in public offices and general decline in the quality of leadership are there for all to see. In the view of Prince Mashele and Mzukisi Qobo, this state of affairs has its origins in the messiness and collapse of the African National Congress. As helplessness deepens in our society, concerned citizens ask: 'What will happen to South Africa?'  The Fall of the ANC: What Next? seeks to answer the question of the fate that awaits the country.   A passion for books and a passion for collecting fine editions was the recipe that created the successful group of bookshops in Johannesburg called Bookdealers. The group started thirty years ago with one store in the quirky suburb of Yeoville and has grown through the years to a total of five shops, plus our online sales. Bookdealers is well-known for its collectable and used books. We also have a large variety of remaindered books sourced from around the world.  If you collect from one of our five branches there is no delivery charge. We also offer postal delivery (when available) and courier delivery, subject to a quote.
