For the first time the maneuver was performed on August 27, 1913, by Pyotr Nesterov in the sky over Kyiv (Syrets military airfield) before numerous spectators` eyes. The event became de facto the beginning of aerobatics and substantial contribution to the aviation development. On the obverse there are: the semicircular inscription ???????????? ???? ??????? (National Bank of Ukraine) (above) with the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine to the left; in the centre, against the background of the decorative military map case with the flight plan, Pyotr Nesterov`s portrait and the coin issue year indication 2013 to the right thereof; below - the coin face value 5 ??????? 1900 1d Machadadorp Briefkaart Arms Card printing - pristine mint - scarce 'On 18 July 1900 the ZAR's distributor of stamps, H Henning asked Postmaster Van Alphen - who was at Nelspruit at that stage (following Boer retreat from Pretoria) to authorise the printing of 5 000 1d postcards. Paul Van Zeyl who authored the chapter comments - 'These cards are also said to have been sold by the post office in a pre-cancelled form; pristine mint cards appear to be scarce..' See Matthews - Transvaal Philately - Pages 136 and 137. My recommendation is that all stamps be sent via Registered Post as I will not be responsible for those sent without Registered tracking. International rates will be confirmed based upon the destination country.
