The type of pictures you take will depend on what our sales associates ask for. Once you have captured the pictures we need, you will utilize editing equipment and software to enhance the photographs for our customers. Photographer Job Responsibilities: • Capture exceptional experiences for marketing. • Creates content with an exceptional range of creative, technical, and documentary imagery. • Collaborates with Management and Sales Associates. • Executes standard photography operation procedures including image editing techniques, tools, processes, and guidelines. • Archives images and organizes files. • Drives towards continuous improvement and creative solutions. Photographer Qualifications / Skills: • Firm handle on a photography studio, its environment, and its processes • Strong communication skills • Maintain high standards for creative output • Strong work ethic • Ability to size images and color settings for the web and social media Photographer Job Responsibilities: • 2-5 years’ experience in photo industry • Substantial portfolio of past work • Travel to clients to take photos, video and scan of property • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Adobe Sketch, Sketchbook, or similar programs • Experience working with 360° scanner for virtual tours and videography • Expert skills in operating cameras and must stay up to date with changes in technology Photographer Job Remuneration: • Basic salary offered • Travel allowance • Incentive to be discussed • Pension and basic • Occasional weekend sessions Must have a Car ruan@tfre.co.za

Photographer Apprenticeship with Craig Dutton Studios Starting 1st November Internationally recognized photographer, Craig Dutton, is setting up a studio in Pietermaritzburg and is looking for an organised and conscientious individual with ambition, drive and enthusiasm to work in the fast paced photography industry. This apprenticeship will equip the successful candidate with the ideal opportunity to use this role as a stepping-stone into their career in the photography industry. The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 days a week in the studio. As a photographic apprentice, your responsibilities will include: • Assist with the photographers on all aspects of the shoots – on location photography such as sport as well as in studio photography especially newborns. • Retouching images. • General administration duties to support the team. • Answering all telephone calls, and taking messages. • Tidying of the studio and equipment room. • Cleaning all camera and lighting equipment. • Testing, Logging and sending off all camera and lighting equipment for repair. • Performing research for shoots. • Processing, retouching, uploading and keywording images for sportstock. • Developing and updating company website with new images and text. • Producing portfolio books. • Attending some meetings. • Writing letters to clients/potential clients. • Managing incoming emails and responding. • Quoting on work. • Liaising with clients and agencies. • Managing and ordering stock for office and studio/location equipment. • Looking after clients when at the studio; talking, making drinks and sorting food. • Ordering food essentials into the studio. • Managing social media sites. • Upholding company standards, ensuring business professionalism and a reputation for excellence. • Organising cards and gifts for clients at Christmas time. • Sending letters and parcels off at the Post Office/Couriers. • Perform all duties and tasks given by management. Unlock nature’s secrets at Entabeni Safari Conservancy under the guidance of esteemed photographer, Eric Reisinger and a fully qualified ranger. The photographic weekend will be conducted at Entabeni’s rustic Wildside Safari Camp and is a practical course. Only six photographers per weekend can be accommodated, to ensure each individual receives the necessary attention. The weekend is aimed at photographers with some knowledge of their equipment and photography, but not for the very advanced. The course will start on Friday afternoon after lunch. The program will include very early morning shoots at lakes, panoramic of the mountains, late afternoon night landscapes, as well as star photography. There will also be lots of opportunities for art images, textures and in addition, bird and general wildlife shots will be possible, as the photography course group will have a fully trained ranger with them at all times and will be granted special permission to work within this big 5 area. There will also be a class lectures on various aspects of Natural History Photography. The weekend packages include a photographic course, 4 photographic game drives, 2 night’s accommodation and three meals daily.
