PETER BEAUCLERK DEWAR, born in 1943, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, is a professional genealogist and a former honorary director of the Association of Genealogists and Record Agents.  Also   lieutenant in the Royal Naval Reserve 1975. Peter is a  direct descendant of Charles II and his famed mistress Nell Gwyn.    Illustrated by DONALD ADAMSON, born in 1939. Also with   double page pedigree of Beauclerk Family, Dukes of St. Albans Nell Gwyn was said to be by far the most popular of all the king's mistresses – largely because of her ready wit but perhaps also because she was beautiful and never put on airs and graces,  never forgot old friends, and remained faithful to her 'Charles III' (he was her third lover of that name) to the end.
