Here we have on auction a rarely seen available for sale current issue Mozambique Police (PRM) rice pattern camo long-sleeve shirt in good used condition AND in a X- LARGE size! This l/s shirt is approx a size X-L (fits me and I normally wear XL shirts - 44 inch chest) and is marked in the local size scale as a "size 9". The picture below shows a member of the Mozambique PRM police wearing the same rice pattern camo as is on auction here; Many Southern African nations adopted the rice pattern camo (East German/ Chinese origin and/ or copy) for use by their militaries/ police forces (Zambia and Moz still currently use this patt for police)/ para-military forces and the pattern was also extensively used by insurgents and terrorist groups throughout Southern Africa eg. ZIPRA/ ZANLA in Rhodesia, SWAPO/ PLAN in Angola/ SWA etc. and subsequently the SA Special Forces (Recces) also made their own copy camo and psuedo uniforms in the pattern! Please see the pics for further detail and as a confirmation of the item and its condition as on auction. Please see the "INUPOL" label and size tag - which reads "size 9" (approx XL). and; These uniforms are extremely difficult to source and finding one in a X-large size is even MORE difficult! Please see my other auction currently running with matching XL size short sleeve and rice pattern PRM trousers! Please note that the 32 Battalion summer camo used as a background is not included in this auction. Genuine US Marines camouflage pattern combat coat - men's large. This combat coat would have been utilised in combat. It has the owners name, U.S. Marines sewn onto it, with the emblem on the left pocket. The coat is a 'bush type' design with two expanding chest area pockets with two green button closures and straight edge flaps. The upper left pocket also has a pencil/pen case within the larger pocket. There are five green button closures down the front and they are protected by the placket that covers them. The lower pockets also have the two button closure with protective flap. Both of the sleeves have adjustable cuffs that have three buttons to choose from for better fit and they have a tab closure. It has a fold down collar and it tapers slightly in at the waist. The manufacturing label has the following instructions on how to wear this coat; 1. Wear outside of trousers and 2. Adjust closures to ventilate and avoid overheating. The Stock No. is 1415-01-184-1335. The coat is in good used condition - small hole on left side. Great buy for the collector.
