With a number of Officers below you, each with differing experience and skills, you have to assign your different units to their commanders and direct the battles as either a German or Russian. The range of units available to you is very impressive. Starting with basic equipment, more gear becomes available as the time progresses, and the victories roll in. To command this "gear" you need to assign the right officers to the right regiments, and this is an important factor in winning the game--no good posting an infantry officer to command your artillery--and as they gain battle experience, the better their movement and effectiveness against the enemy becomes. Panzer General III is unique in the sense that you have a number of turns to make your manoeuvres, before the enemy has a chance to react. Once you have made your moves--which could be attacking, digging in, re-supplying, repairing damaged vehicles or simply moving to a better tactical position--it is your enemy's chance to respond to your actions. You can only control your pieces during your "turn". Once your enemy has finished manoeuvring, control reverts back to you. However, if the enemy attacks your units, they will respond, either by returning fire, or retreating, if they survive. The nature of Panzer General III requires tactical forward thinking--the enemy will easily quash a lone unit. Only through unified co-ordinated movements can you defeat your enemy while avoiding crippling casualties. Not so much an action game as other RTS contemporaries, Panzer General III is more like a war management game, but in that it is totally original and a welcome change. -- Chris Hall

Harry's got his own book series, a feature film directed by Steven Spielberg, and now his very own video game for the PlayStation. Based on J.K. Rowling's popular novels for young people, HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE (the game) pretty much follows the story of the original book. You'll begin as a first-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; eventually perfecting your skills to the point where you can venture out into the real world and try a few things out. There are plenty of popular characters to keep young gamers as enthralled as they were by the books (Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy among others are all here), and there's an encounter at the end of the game with a not-so-friendly face from the story. The game is packed with tons of magic, secrets, power-ups and hidden goodies for kids to seek out, and the graphics do the story justice.

 On offer are the Original Tomb Raider 1 & 2 games for PS1(also plays on PS2 consoles) Game discs are in good condition and works 100% but there are some light scratches. Included are the inlays and original booklets which are in great condition! It comes in the original PS1 cases but they are not in a very good condition. As can be seen in the picture: TR2's case is cracked  in front. Both have seen better days. Still, the discs and booklets are in great condition. Shipping is R150 via courier or R99 via Postnet

Monster's Inc. Scare Island PS1 Very Good Condition, Front Insert Missing   If you're into Monsters, Inc. you'll love this game, a colourful and child-friendly offering that brings the characters from the Pixar/Disney blockbuster to a PlayStation near you. The aim of the game is simple enough: progress through the levels by scaring a set number of robotic children ("nerves") and collecting your standard platform currency--coins. The game itself is a movie tie-in, but not a game of the movie; the plot doesn't follow the film's at all, instead pursuing Mike and Sulley's training at the Monsters, Inc. Scare Academy. Each level is presented more as a puzzle rather than a story progression; clips from the movie are included in between levels, but they don't really bear any relevance to the action at your fingertips. The gameplay uses elements from Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie and Spyro the Dragon: jump, spin, bounce--all your standard platform moves are here. However, this isn't a bad thing, as kids will love it. It's a fun, not overly complicated platformer, which does its job; if however you want an original gaming experience then maybe this isn't for you.-- Laurent S Hall
