 Two Very Old Items The smaller item appears to be brass cast The larger jug seems to be brass or bronze over silver (I am not sure) There was black soot on the bottom. I tried to clear some away to see if there are any markings. Couldn't find any. I have no idea of the origin or age of these items and hope the images will help to identify them. The starting bid may be crazy high or crazy low therefor I am listing over a longer period to give buyers who might have some idea of it's true value(either much lower or possibily higher). Originates from a small Western Cape town where it had been in use till about 25 years ago, then replaced with modern lamps. The old lamps were totally restored and then most were used at another historic town. This specific item has been in storage in a building for the entire time and never exposed to the elements, extremely scarce and a one of a kind original.
