This company is looking to acquire a Nightshift Controller to join their fast paced, detailed focused Western Cape division.     Minimum Requirements: Ø  Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent Ø  2 – 3 years experience within a FMCG environment Ø  Excellent  telephone communication skills Ø  Good writing skills Ø  Proficient in MS Office Ø  Neat and punctual with ability to organize Ø  Ability to work nightshifts Ø  Own transport Ø  Experience within a transport control-room environment Ø  A professional and service driven approach to deal with vendors, drivers and clients       Job Overview:   The successful incumbent will be reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager. It is rotational shifts 7 days a week.  The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Ø  Expediting the collection and delivery of loads after hours. Ø  Immediately notify relevant Operations Controllers about exceptions on loads (via telephone and e-mail). Ø  Adhere to incident/accident protocols and procedures. Ø  Adhere to CHEP Pallet procedures. Ø  Debriefing dayshift. Ø  Pro-active communication with loading and off-loading points, vendors, Controllers and Management.   This position offers an exciting opportunity for an incumbent who is responsible, confident and is result driven.
