Olena Teliha was a poetess who left not very extensive, but rather significant artistic heritage. She was an organizer and a head of the Union of Ukrainian writers in Nazies-occupied Kyiv, she edited the `Timpani` periodical, a literary and artistic supplement to the `Ukrainian Word` newspaper. On the coin obverse above against the glass background there is the arciform inscription: ???????????? ???? ??????? (National Bank of Ukraine), under which there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, to the left - the coin face-value ¿ 2 / ??????
