  NAIN PERSIAN CARPET Make: Handmade Size: 400 x 300 cm Origin: Iran History of Nain Carpet NAIN Carpet is coming from Nain and Koyer which are two popular cities of Isfehan Province in Iran. NAIN CARPET was not a popular carpet till year 1917 when Mirza Jalal Khan became principle of Nain School, In his 11 years at this position he realized that due to not enough jobs available the students are not able to continue their educations after the premier studies and they are mostly living in poverty, he decided to find a profession for his people therefor in the year 1922 he used the opportunity with two Carpet teachers each Mirza Hussain and Mirza Jawad opened technical classes for these people and in a 2 years period teach them all levels of weaving carpets. It did not take long and the buzz of their skills and type of carpet reached all over the country and a lot of carpet weavers headed to them and now after almost 1 century this carpet is known as one of the finest and most popular Persian carpets and we all are grateful of all those people who worked very hard to make this carpet as one of the most popular carpet all around the world.   NAIN CARPET is coming in different designs and qualities, the quality difference in this type is based on layers   which in Persian its called LA, Nain carpet is coming in 4LA, 6LA, 9LA     in which the 4LA is the finest quality and currently it’s rare you can’t find them easily, the sizes are   120 x 80 cm 200 x 130 cm 230 x 170 cm 300 x 200 cm and 400 x 300 cm    Delivery   to your home is free nationwide in South Africa   We will send you certificate of authenticity with the carpet.
