Star Wars Battlefront II (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Description Star Wars Battlefront II improves upon the original game's single-player experience with open-ended, mission-based objectives inspired from all six Star Wars films. The compelling storyline spans more than 12 new locations, many from Episode III, including volcanic Mustafar and the space battle above Coruscant. All-new classic movie moments complete the Star Wars Battlefront II experience, as players battle within the interior of the Death Star and visit Princess Leia's blockade runner, the Tantive IV, as seen at the beginning of Episode IV A New Hope. In addition, at certain key moments within the battles, players can feel the Force as a Jedi. For the first time ever, Star Wars Battlefront II players can engage in space combat and, during the same battle, board enemy ships to attack from within. Starting on foot inside a capital ship, players can enter the spacecraft of their choice and travel into space to dogfight with the rival faction. From there, they can dock within the enemy's capital ship, overtake the ship's command posts, man its turrets to disable its shields and destroy it from within! Or, they can simply stay inside their own capital ship and defend it from attacks and enemy fire. The choice is theirs. The stellar online play that marked the original Star Wars Battlefront returns even bigger and better for Star Wars Battlefront II. Players can locate their buddies and track their stats as they battle alongside more players than ever (up to 24 on PS2, 32 on Xbox, 64 on Windows). Review With the latest movie almost making up for the quality of the first two films it looks like Star Wars has won back the hearts and minds of fans everywhere and Battlefront II aims to be the perfect celebration of that. Like the original its a sort of Star Wars version of PC hit Battlefield 1942, where two armies face off against each other, either off or online, jumping in and out of various vehicles as they find them. Of course in Battlefield 1942 "various vehicles" meant jeeps and tanks, in Battlefront II it means X-wings, TIE Fighters, AT-ATs and, for the first time, Episode III vehicles like the BARC speeder, Jedi Starfighter II and V-wing. The biggest change to the game, apart from the new vehicles, is space battles with several of the levels taking part aboard giant space cruisers which you can exit in starfighters, have a dogfight in deep space around and then pilot back to for a bit more on foot combat. Levels include the Blockade Runner from the beginning of A New Hope, the space battle above Coruscant and Utapau and Mustafa from Episode III. Another long awaited addition is playable Jedi, although you can only be one for a short time so as to not unbalance the gameplay. Although the emphasis is on online play the single player mode has been beefed up with better artificial intelligence and a proper story linking all the missions. "Star Wars fans, like this, they will", as Yoda would say (if he was real and wrote game previews instead of being a Jedi Master). -- Harrison Dent This preview is based on an incomplete version of the game; features or problems mentioned above may not appear in the finished game.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels (Wii) Platform: Nintendo Wii Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Fight the most memorable duels from The Clone Wars feature film and TV series. Wield your Wii Remote like a lightsaber and experience first-hand the unique weapon of the Jedi Knights with intuitive controls, so no matter what your gaming experience you can become a lightsaber master. Play with your friends as your favorite Clone Wars hero or villain - from familiar characters like Anakin Skywalker and General Grievous to new faces like Ahsoka Tano and Asajj Ventress - each with a unique fighting style and set of skills. Exploit your interactive surroundings to defeat your opponent: slice down pillars and Force throw them against your foe. Duel your way through significant Clone Wars locations, such as Tatooine and Teth Product Description Great Games and Accessories for the Nintendo Wii from Gamesbuyer. Review Its the game fans have been demanding ever since the Wii was first announced: The worlds first fully-fledged lightsaber game. Based on the new computer generated Clone Wars movie, Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels allows you to control ten of the most powerful lightsaber-wielding Star Wars characters--from Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu to the evil Count Dooku and General Grievous. The game is all about one-on-one battles, as you wield the Wii remote like a real lightsaber while using the Nunchuck to move your character around. Whichever direction you swing the remote, your moves are replicated on screen, but you can also block, parry, and dodge. The action is highly accessible. Naturally you can use the Force too--from lifting up items and throwing them at your foe to using Force lighting if youre a bad guy. This is definitely the game Star Wars fans are looking for. Key Features Rogues gallery: Play as ten different Jedi, from the infamous Anakin Skwywalker to new characters such as the apprentice Ahsoka Tano and the evil Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. Classic battles: Set between Episodes II and III, while Anakin is still a good guy, the game features famous fights from both the new CGI movie and the live action films. Art attack: The stunning graphics look just like the Clone Wars film, with a stylised look for all the characters and the same voiceover actors providing the voices. Force yourself: Use super powered Force attacks to get the upper hand, or levitate and use the objects around you to put your opponent off guard. Collateral damage: Its not just your enemies you can damage, as platforms break apart while you fight, giant stone columns are sliced in half, and spaceships crash around you. About the Developer: Krome Studios One of the biggest developers in Australia, Krome Studios earliest successes included Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games for PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. Later games from Krome include licensed properties, such as Viva Pi¿¿ata: Party Animals and Hellboy: The Science Of Evil.

Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds - Clone Campaigns Expansion Pack (PC) Brand New In Box (Sealed but sometimes supplied without film wrapping) THIS PRODUCT IS IMPORTED ON ORDER - PLEASE SEE "SHIPPING & PAYMENT" FOR DELIVERY TIMES Game Information Platform:   Windows / NT / Me / XP ELSPA Minimum Age: 11 Media: Video Game  See more system requirements Product details Release Date: 31 May Features: Official expansion to Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds - requires original game to run Choose to play as the breakaway secessionist Confederacy or Galactic Republic New Star Wars locales from films, expanded universe and Star Wars: Episode II Over 200 new units - including new kinds of droids, troopers, bounty hunters, craft and much more Mix and match civilisations from Star Wars: Episode II with those from the original Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds Product Description ReviewClone Campaigns is the first add-on disk to the hugely successful real-time strategy game built on The Age of Empires engine, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. It is also the first PC game to feature content from Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This content mainly comes in the form of two new campaigns: The Old Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. You can choose to either take control of the shiny new Jedi controlled Army of the Republic, forefathers of those pesky Imperial Stormtroopers, or the combined armies of the Confederacy complete with the insect like Genosians, and Techno Droids. The action in Clone Campaigns commences on Geonosis, with the aftermath of the big battle scene at the end of the movie.. Each campaign features seven missions to complete and over 200 new troop, vehicle and ship units and takes you through the beginning of the infamous clone wars. New features are also added to the original game with new units, orders and effects all selectable in the older campaigns. All the new and old armies are selectable in the Multiplayer and Skirmish modes, ensuring you¿¿¿ll be needing to re-evaluate those tactics for warfare against the new combatants. Overall a great add-on which adds and enhances an already fantastic game.--Laurent S Hall. Product DescriptionThe Clone Campaigns expansion for Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is inspired by the large-scale battles in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, as well as the classic and expanded Star Wars universe. Clone Campaigns features 14 original single-player combat scenarios, new civilizations, environments, vehicles, and more than 200 new units. By adding the expansion pack to Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds players can mix and match civilizations from Attack of the Clones with those from the classic Star Wars universe in both skirmish and multiplayer modes. Clone Campaigns, as with the base game Galactic Battlegrounds, is built upon enhanced engine technology from Ensemble Studios' Age of Kings. The Clone Campaigns expansion pack will feature numerous technical improvements including upgraded shields, power cores, and new effects. Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns requires a copy of the retail version of the original game (Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds) in order to be played.

Star Wars: Rogue Leader - Rogue Squadron II (GameCube) Platform: GameCube Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Based on the original 1977 movie Stunning recreation of the climactic scene Detailed background graphics Play as Luke, with R2D2 riding shotgun 11 missions over ice planet Hoth, the Death Star, and more Product Description Rogue Leader has some of the best graphics ever seen on a home console and its proper, old-fashioned, Star Wars--if that doesnt raise at least an eyebrow of your interest then theres probably not much in the world of video games that will. Thankfully, the jaw-dropping graphics are matched up to a very playable shoot em-up that works as a slightly more in-depth version of the PS2s Starfighter, except without any of that Episode I nonsense; instead it recreates everything from the Death Star trench run to the Battle of Hoth. The game is actually a sequel to Rogue Squadron on the N64--an excellent game that many only remember from the rather lacklustre PC version. Its structurally very similar to the original, with a dozen or so levels and a Star Destroyer full of secret levels and ships. There are a few new ideas, such as controllable wingman and ground troops, and some of the levels are set in deep space instead of just planetside, but at its heart this is still Rogue Squadron Deluxe. What elevates the game to an object of worship is the graphics--they really do look almost identical to the movies, with several scenes being copied exactly, and move with a fluidity and grace you wouldnt have thought possible from a ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿150 console. The only flaw is that the missions are needlessly short, but theres plenty of replayability, and by gosh theres those graphics...--David Jenkins Review Rogue Leader has some of the best graphics ever seen on a home console and it's proper, old-fashioned, Star Wars --if that doesn't raise at least an eyebrow of your interest then there's probably not much in the world of video games that will. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (PS) Platform: PlayStation Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Unleash the power to defend the Trade Federation battle droids. Use wits to overcome puzzles and outsmart your foes. Explore beautiful lands. Interact with hundreds of characters. Product Description Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. You have been called to set things right. In Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, use the Force--and your wits--to overcome challenges at every turn. Interact with hundreds of characters as you search for the clues that will defeat the Trade Federation and their evil plot. The fate of the galaxy is in your hands, Padawan. Don't blow it. Take on the roles of Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala and Captain Panaka. Solve dozens of challenging puzzles suitable for novice and veteran action-adventurers. Your choice of weapons includes lightsabres, droid stunners, Naboo blasters and Force Push powers. Travel to the exotic locales of Episode I--from the majestic cities of Naboo, to the denizen-filled streets of Mos Espa, to the bustling skylanes of Coruscant. Battle hordes of enemies including destroyer droids and the evil Darth Maul. The captivating non-linear story line lets you engage in side quests that will take you through the film-and beyond. Review As the room fills with poison gas, you and Qui-Gon race down the hall and stop in front of five Trade Federation droids. Your lightsabre hums to life as you and your master block and reflect the hail of blaster bolts, leaving the offending droids in pieces. As your enemies grow to seemingly hopeless numbers, you extend your hand in a Jedi force push. Again all that is left are fried circuits. Leaping over chasms, destroying droid armies, saving entire planets is all in a day's work when you are a Jedi. And we all want to be Jedi... right? In Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace, you assume the roles of Obi Wan, Qui-Gon, Queen Amidala and Captain Panaka as they struggle to save Naboo and defeat the Trade Federation's sinister agents. Exciting battles, terrific sound effects and a true-to-the-movie storyline make this game a treat for any Star Wars fan. The graphics could be sharper, but the overall Star Wars experience is not diminished by this fact. Instead, the gameplay itself takes you away from an immersive Star Wars feel: it's just strange to see a Jedi use a rocket launcher. Most of us would hope that lightsabres would cut through just about anything, but sadly this is not the case--some robots even need to be hit multiple times before they go down. And it's just sad to see a Jedi's progress in an outdoor level blocked by simple shrubbery. Still, like the movie itself, Star Wars: Episode One, The Phantom Menace overcomes its minor flaws to deliver a thrilling experience. --Allen Stewart Pros: You get to use a lightsabre Dual shock controllers vibrate with the sabre's movement Great music video of Duel of the Fates included Cons: Graphics could be better Voice-overs are rather weak
