The Mountain Buggy "Swift" is an awesome all terrain pram from New Zealand. Mountain Buggy pride themselves on safety and high quality products. 10 inch air-filled tyres absorb bumps along the road, and the front wheel either swivels for easy manoeuvring of tight spaces, or locks straight for stability across uneven terrain. Ideal for small car boots or trips to a busy cafe, swift folds compact and stands independently with fabrics off the floor. An instant ‘click’ let’s you know the buggy frame has automatically locked when folded. A padded harness keeps your baby secure in their buggy seat and is easily adjusted as they grow. The seat position transitions from full recline for a newborn baby to upright for an older child. Swift’s wipe clean fabrics are made from durable 600D polyester and are simple to remove from the buggy frame. A large canopy with flip out sun visor shades baby while you keep an eye on them from above through the peek-a-boo flap. Durable, comfort grip handle that is fully adjustable from cm to suit any height. An easily engaged, foot operated brake sits at the base of the buggy, along with a storage tray to accommodate up to 5kg of storage. Includes a water bottle holder attachment. As far as I know you cannot buy these prams new in South Africa. For more information please see their website. https://mountainbuggy.com/rw/About/about We have been very happy with this pram, I’ve even been running with my baby in it. Unsung heroesthe selfless heroism of South Africas airmen In the air force no mission receives greater priority than the mission of mercy. When lives are at stake all resources available are dedicated to the task. Aircrew, ground crew, paramedics, doctors, mountaineers, navy divers, policemen and trained civilian volunteers are rapidly organized into a rescue team and dispatched with all haste to the disaster scene. This requires training, preparedness, dedication, determination and courage. Rescue missions are often flown in weather conditions that would normally ground all aircraft. Scenarios are as diverse as high-rise fires, mountain, flood and maritime rescues, to white-outs in the snows of Antarctica. Originally published in 1999 as Fire, Flood and Ice, this updated edition includes yet more spectacular South African Air Force (SAAF) search and rescue missions, both military and civilian. Included is the remarkable rescue of all 581 people from the ill-fated liner Oceanos, for which the author was mentioned in dispatches for his role as commander of the rescue operation. Also new are heart-warming accounts of SAAF rescues during the devastating floods of 2000 in Mozambique, which captured the worlds attention Paperback, 248 pages with photos & maps. Published July 2010 (Second Edition)
