Argali live in Central and Middle Asia and now are listed in IUCN Red List as threatened species. Some organizations make actions to protect mountain sheep from disappearing.Argali¿s full face portrait takes up the full surface of the obverse. The embossed image is highly detailed and expressive. Mountain sheep looks from the coin with the eyes made of mocha Swarovski Elements crystals. The Latin name of argali is OVIS AMMON and it¿s placed under the image along the rim together with name of the series and the year of issue.The reverse depicts Mongolian Coat of Arms and information about precious metal and weight of the coin (1 OZ).
