As New (still sealed) Warner Classics has drawn from its now vast catalogue to offer classical music lovers a good selection of CPE Bach works in the form of a 13 CDs offering.  Although it is not as a comprehensive survey as Brilliant Classics CPE Bach Edition (30 CDs) since it does not offer anything of the composer's sacred vocal music, it more than makes up for it by showcasing famous baroque music players such as Gustav Leonhardt, Anner Bylsma, Ton Koopman, and Herbert Tachezi, an ex member of the famous Concentus Musicus Vienna founded by the late Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Import This is a mixture of takes from four albums. Yes, their two big hits "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl" are not on it, which is a good thing. Those are great tunes, but it's nice to hear some different stuff. There is not a bad song on this CD. My favorite song of theirs, "Living in the footsteps of another man" is here and it sounds good as ever! Many more classics on this tremendous CD. Full of great harmonies and orchestration. This is one heckuva CD!
