Miniature order tambo

  On auction is a rare miniature Order of the Star of South Africa: Grand Cross, post nominal letters SSA. The Star is marked "S925" These were bestowed on civilians for excellent meritorious service which made a lasting contribution to the security and general national interest of South Africa. The Order of the Star of South Africa was instituted on 1 July 1975 and conferment of the decoration was discontinued on 6 December 2002.
