The cymbal pads may be played on top as usual, or at the rim in order to distinguish between ride and crash sounds. The pads ensure an authentic playing experience; the realistic ‘feel’ enables dynamic play. The sensitivity of both pad and rim may be adjusted independently. The drum kit may be further fitted by adjusting the stereo image, volume and pitch for each pad. The touch response is adjustable per pad in six degrees. Whether you play Rock or Jazz, the pads can be fitted to every style. The sound module… The DD506 sound module has a separate input for each pad. All pads and controllers can be connected quickly and easily by means of the included multi-cable. The controls are very clear which allows you to set the sounds per pad, control the metronome, fit cross-talk between separate pads, or adjust the reverb. Apart from the 307 drum and percussion voices, a complete GM voices set is available which can be controlled on 16 MIDI channels.
