Lynx 10x50 Roof-Prism Binocular Product Info Roof-prism binoculars, recognisable because the eye-lens is in-line with the objective lens, afford the user a handy and compact device that is intrinsically more resistant to wear and damage caused by use or abuse than the older porro-prism design binoculars (characterised by “shoulders” that place the objective lens out of line with the eye-lens). When considering a roof-prism binocular look for one that is fully multi-coated and has phase-coated prisms to ensure the instrument has the best image that modern optics technology can produce.
