A two-volume set of Andrew Lloyd Webber stage musicals. 'The Phantom of the Opera' is a live performance from the Royal Albert Hall celebrating the 25th anniversary of the popular musical, based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. Lavishly staged, this first release of the hugely successful stage version stars Ramin Karimloo as the disfigured musical genius 'The Phantom', whose terrorising of the Paris Opera changes when he falls in love with 'Christine' (Sierra Boggess). Other cast members include Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur Andr', Liz Robertson as 'Madame Giry' and Wynne Evans as 'Piangi'. 'Love Never Dies' is the filmed Australian stage production of the sequel to 'The Phantom of the Opera'. Set in 1907, the story follows the now world-famous soprano Christine Daa (Anna O'Byrne) as she accepts an invitation from a mysterious impresario to perform at Phantasma, a new attraction at New York's Coney Island. After arriving in Manhattan, Christine, husband Raoul (Simon Gleeson) and son Gustave (Ky Baldwin) are lured to the resort, unaware that it is the Phantom (Ben Lewis) who has arranged her appearance.

Based on the short story by Pulitzer Prize-winning author E. Annie Proulx, BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN is the tragic and moving story of two cowboys who unexpectedly fall in love while working together one summer in 1963. When the film begins, rodeo cowboy Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) and ranch-hand Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) are strangers meeting for the first time. As the more outgoing one, it is Jack who must initiate a friendship with Ennis, a man so tight-lipped and self-consciously macho he refuses all facial expression. From this strained beginning, Jack and Ennis gradually begin to bond on cold lonely nights over a fire in the mountains of Signal, Wyoming. One particularly chilly evening, Jack invites Ennis into his tent, where a sudden awkward embrace sends their relationship in a new direction. Though each man stubbornly defends his heterosexuality, the spark between them cannot help but grow, with that initial summer on Brokeback Mountain becoming their reference point for happiness during the rest of their lives. Spanning 20 years, the film moves at an impressively slow pace that really captures the detailed and unhurried style of Proulxs story. Seeing each other a few times a year at best, Ennis and Jack spend the rest of their time half-heartedly living up to societys expectations by marrying and having kids. When the lovers do meet, there is a sense of love so palpable and frustrating it often manifests itself in physical violence. Gyllenhaal shines as the films hopeful light, and Ledger gives a powerful performance as the emotionally blocked Ennis. Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee captures the natural beauty of Wyoming and Texas with camerawork that, while beautiful, never feels imposing. Gustavo Santaolallas simple yet haunting score helps to complete a beautiful portrait of regret and wasted chances.

The Lost Boys is one of 80's cinema's iconic vampire films about two new-in-town brothers who discover a local gang of motorcycle youths (including a young Kiefer Sutherland) are more undead than alive. Younger brother Sam (Corey Haim) works hard to eradicate the ghouls but his older brother (Jason Patric) falls in love with the group's lone female (Jami Gertz). Soon, he finds that he's gradually becoming a vampire himself. Shot on location in the coastal California town of Santa Cruz and directed by Joel Schumacher (Flatliners), The Lost Boys became a pop-culture phenomenon thanks to its attractive young stars, offbeat soundtrack, and hip, clever marketing campaign. The film's tagline: "Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire." perfectly captured its knowing mixture of attitude and gore.
