Akai - Deluxe Distortion Effects Pedal The Akai Professional Deluxe Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal is the flagship of the Analog Custom Shop product line. Deluxe Distortion combines distortion, tone-control and amplifier simulation in heavy-duty polished stainless-steel housing. True-bypass switching, adjustable frequency knobs, amp simulation and tone toggle switches provide precision control. Deluxe Distortion's EQ mode toggle-switch provides detailed tone control with a choice of Modern, Normal or Classic. The Modern setting provides a scooped-mid tone recognizable as a cornerstone of the hard rock and heavy metal guitar sound. Normal passes the input frequency directly to the distortion effect while the Classic setting boosts mid-tone for an enhanced, warm tone reminiscent of classic rock. Dir Rec switch provides emulation of amplifier power and speaker perfect for direct input to a mixer, DAW or other amplification or recording device.
