The following Lima set is in good overall condition and has been used. This is a complete set and the condition description is as per below Box: The physical box is complete and shows signs of its age Loco - The unit runs perfectly. This unit as all the Panto springs. The top of the pantos has some rust on them. The is a tiny spot of under paint that is showing as shown in the few images below. There are no breaks or damages to this unit. Oz wagon - The one OZ wagon has a minor break where the chasis clip is. There is a small white dot on the tarps. These units have rust on the couplers. Coal hoppers with Tarps - there are not issues with these uints. Tracks and controller - There are 10 tracks in different condition.. Transformer Postage is R65 due to the size of this

Part boxed vintage Lima Crick mechanical train set. I would date this part train set to the 1970s. The set consists of a Coca-Cola, Schweppes and Refrigirator closed box wagon, A 1950s Lima HO Alco 1930 CN steam locomotive (not part of the original set), 10 Lima curved train tracks and 1 landscape office (not sure if from the set). The items are all in good but untested condition. The part set comes in its original box. Great buy for the collector. Shipping note: This item falls into the 1kg - 5kg category (approximately 4kg). The following ATLAS flexi tracks are brand new and is for HO scale units. The length of each track is 917MM each. The tracks are similar to these reflected below.  Please note that due to the size of the tracks the post office charges R50 to have it sent anywhere in South Africa. This unit has lima couplers and come with accessories   B- side of the A wagon: Information on the ore train: The Sishen–Saldanha railway line, also known as the Ore Export Line, is an 861 kilometres (535 mi) long heavy haul railway line in South Africa. It connects iron ore mines near Sishen in the Northern Cape with the port at Saldanha Bay in the Western Cape. It is used primarily to transport iron ore and does not carry passenger traffic. The Sishen–Saldanha line was built by Iscor, the then iron and steel parastatal, opening in . In the line was transferred to Transnet Freight Rail, then known as South African Railways & Harbours, and a decision was made to electrify the line. A voltage of 50 kV AC was chosen instead of the usual 25 kV in order to haul heavier loads and to allow a larger distance between transformers. A single set of tracks with ten crossing loops to allow trains travelling in opposite directions to pass was constructed; this has since been increased to 19 crossing loops to increase line capacity. From an altitude of metres ( ft) at Sishen, the line climbs for 42 kilometres (26 mi) before descending to cross the Orange River about 10 kilometres (6 mi) downstream of Groblershoop. For the next 300 kilometres (190 mi), the line rises and falls before descending towards the Atlantic coast. The railway crosses the Olifants River on a metres ( ft) viaduct between Vredendal and Lutzville and reaches the coast about 160 kilometres (100 mi) north of Saldanha. From here it follows a coastal route. Initial train lengths consisted of three class 9E electric locomotives, hauling 210 type CR ore wagons with a payload of 80 tons. Upgraded wagons now carry 100 tons. Train lengths have been increased to 342 wagons, employing Radio Distributed Power (RDP) technology. These tonnes total mass, metres long trains (8 locomotives and 342 wagons), are the longest production trains in the world. More than of these RDP trains have been operated since launched in December . Currently the train runs 5 times a day
