FILTER INSTALLATION 1. The multi port valve has 3 clearly marked outlets(pump,return,waste) 2. Remove sand inspection cover and replace all screws before adding sand to prevent sand blocking the brass inserts, half fill the filter tank with water and introduce the silica filter sand, do not over fill the tank with sand. The correct level is 50mm below the vent cowl. 3. Take care not to dislodge the breather pipe in the filter, replace the filter lid making sure there is no sand where the o ring seats, place the multiport valve handle on the backwash setting and turn on the pump, once the water is clear through the sight glass turn off the pump.
