Large vintage sa police

Very rare, large vintage South African Police shield/plaque. Wooden shield and base, covered with purple velvet, a gold rim runs around it. The police logo is made of painted fibre glass or some resin. Age related wear, some cracks in the fibre glass/paint, some bare spots on the velvet and scratches and nicks. Overall in very nice condition though, considering its age, colours are still nice and bright. Shield can be detached from its base for easier transport.
