We bought this kennel for our Ridgeback (who weighs 43kg, so he's a large-ish dog). It's a bit too big for him and would suit two big dogs, or one extra large dog (e.g. Great Dane). It was specially made at Timber Products and Mouldings in Bellville. Excellent quality. We have now moved house to a place with a much smaller garden and there is nowhere to put the kennel so we're selling it and will be buying a smaller one instead. We paid R for it in , but are keen to sell, so make me an offer:) It's painted white, and has a couple of marks on it, but otherwise it's in excellent condition and has withstood massive winter storms and never once leaked. It also has a frame at the bottom to ensure its raised slightly off the ground for airflow and to prevent water damage to the wood. Measurements: 126cm long; 119cm tall (at highest point); 108cm wide (at widest point although this is the roof frame that sticks out at the top, the base is 90cm wide). Inside it is 105cm high at highest point and 89cm high at lowest point (on the sides) and 87cm wide. The door opening is 81cm high at highest point and 49cm wide. You will need to come and collect it and I recommend that two strong people will be needed to carry it out and load it onto a bakkie/trailer. We could potentially arrange to deliver to you if we can negotiate on a delivery charge. [Sorry the photos are not the best quality, my phone is dying I think]

The adult has a bare blue face and black neck, and although all other guineafowl have unfeathered heads, this species looks particularly like a vulture because of the long bare neck and head.The slim neck projects from a cape of long, glossy, blue and white hackles.The breast is cobalt blue, and the rest of the body plumage is black, finely spangled with white. The wings are short and rounded, and the tail is longer than others in the family Numididae.The sexes are similar, although the female is usually slightly smaller than the male and with smaller tarsal spurs. They are Beautiful and adorable birds. Vulturine guineafowl are a large size guineafowl. The bare skin of the head and neck is bluish-gray with short brown feathers that go behind the eyes on the back of the head; long, white striped feathers extend from the breast and back. The upper back and breast is bright blue, with a black spot on the center of the chest. The wings and rear half of body are spotted with a long, drooping tail. Females look similar to the males, but are smaller with smaller spurs. Chicks appear much like other guineafowl. Contact us for more details if you are interested.
