Accommodating a wider range of tires allows you to pick the perfect rubber for the conditions. INCREASED TRACTION By making the rim bed wider the tire sidewalls sit in a more vertical position increasing sidewall tension thus creating a firmer tire contact. This higher tension lets you run lower pressures versus narrower rims allowing the tire to conform more naturally to the terrain and increases the contact patch. Wheel set used for 2 seasons and sold complete with New Assagai front tyre, GX cassette and rear E-13 TSRS tire. Wheel set still in very good condition with no major scratches and absolutely no dents. Reason for selling- Im building up a new bike on a 29er platform. Selling my industry nine hydra straight pull hubs. These hubs are awsome and sound amazing. The rear hub is super boost and has a 12mm thru axle. The front is boost with a 20mm thru axle. I also have 15mm end caps for the front hub. These hubs are worth around 12k!

Wheel Size 29" I have this lightweight, super fast engagement wheelset. I have had these for 5 years and ridden about 3000km with them. The i9 hubs are unreal and will miss them but my carbon wheels are 28h and these are 32h else would keep them. A wheel build with these hubs would be around 20-25k. Rims still fine. I placed pic of one ding but has no affect on the function of the wheel. cassette (10spd) and discs + tyres included
