Good as new indoor bicycle trainer, only used a couple of times. It has a resistance gear setting as well which is very helpful for training. Reason for selling is that I don't want to cycle anymore. Contact me if you are interested.

This is a second hand CycleOps Pro 400 indoor bike with built-in PowerTap. I have used it for indoor training over the past 5 years and it has made a huge difference to my fitness levels. The reason I am selling it now, is that I have decided to upgrade and get the Wahoo Kickr Bike, and I need to make some space to accommodate the new trainer. I bought the bike from Bicycle Power Trading, in Rivonia, and have dealt with Dave Brown for a number of years now - he has helped with the odd-service when needed. The trainer is quiet when being used- so you won't keep the rest of the family awake if you sneak in a couple of intervals before or after work. The bike works with ROUVY, using the ANT+ connector to a phone or iPad. Note, it is not a Bluetooth enabled bike. Whilst still considered a smart trainer, it is of the "older generation" and not really compatible with apps like ZWIFT. I will include the ANT+ and iPhone dongle to connect to your tablet or phone. The H2 is the next generation of the CycleOps Hammer Trainer (now Saris), which is an excellent unit for training and virtual riding. The H2 adds cadence, removes noise and has better accuracy. I've used it to improve my cycling performance. It comes with the riser block, iPad bracket and training mat & sweat guard. If you take it with the Cannondale CAAD 8 it is R14,000. Without R8,500.
