A beautifully designed 1970's beech wood couch that we recently restored and had the rattan sides replaced. The arm rests / sides with the three paneled design and rattan feature, give this piece a rather contemporary yet classical look. Both sides have various individual height settings to flatten the sides or raise the head or feet settings. The base is quite solid with tapered front legs and solid back legs for extra stability. The upholstery is vintage aged and worn. The seat has a mattress like base with internal springs inside it rather than on the wood base, it needs replacing.
