The classic opening further develops with spicy black pepper at its core, creating an intriguing masculine energy. The base is warm and personable with notes of cedar wood and incense. The perfume bottle is made of heavy glass, classically shaped with clear lines. Shalimar by Guerlain was created as a tribute to the great love story of Emperor Shahjahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, meaning 'jewel of the palace'. After her death, the emperor was so devastated he built the Taj Mahal in memory of their her and their undying love. The perfume is named after Mumtaz's favourite gardens, the Gardens of Shalimar. The perfume captures the magic and luxury of this fairytale. The top notes are citrus, bergamot, cedar, lemon, and mandarin orange. The middle notes are rose, vetiver, patchouli, iris and jasmine. Labdanum Essential Oil Botanical name: Cistus Ladaniferus Also known as Rock rose, Cistus and in the Bible as Rose of Sharon. Part used: Gum from boiled leaves, twigs and flowers. Method: Steam distillation Colour: golden yellow to amber. Consistency: thin. Perfumery note: Base Aroma: fresh, woody, spicy. Originally the gum of the cistus plants that goats grazed on stuck to their fur and was collected by the herders, who then sold it to be used for incense and perfume. It is also believed that the Pharaohs used the gum to attach false beards to their chins! Labdanum essential oil is used primarily in the perfume industry as a fixative, and as a substitute for Ambergris, but it has many other applications. It is antiseptic, astringent, a very good skin regenerater, especially beneficial for aging skin. Used in vapour therapy as an expectorant, it will clear and sooth the resipiratory tract. Labdanum essential oil is used in aromatherapy for calming and uplifting, and to stabilize mood. Constituents: Terpines, a Pinene, Camphene, hexen-1-ol Warnings: No warnings but as always it is advised to do a skin test before use, and to be avoided by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Etat Libre d’Orange EAU DE PROTECTION, Bulgarian Rose blend. Eau De Protection is a Fresh and Spicy Perfume. The main note that is found in this perfume is Bulgarian rose. It also has many other notes such as black pepper, ginger, bergamot, patchouli, incense. Thats not it, cocoa, jasmine, benzoin and blood accord are also present.

Reve d'Escapade   is limited edition fragrance from   Givenchy launched in 2014.  The fragrance belongs to the same line as Dance with   Givenchy   from 2010, Le Bouquet Absolu from 2011 and Un Air d'Escapade from 2012. The name   Reve d'Escapade   suggests dreams and reveries of escape and world travel. The perfume is announced as bohemian, romantic and gentle, yet as elegant and as glamorous scent of roses. Midnight in Paris from   Van Cleef & Arpels   is  in a dark blue glass flacon, which gives an illusion of starry sky. The perfume was created by perfumers   Domitille Bertier   and   Olivier Polge   who enriched it with floral notes. The top notes are allspice and purple freesia. The heart introduces heliotrope and jasmine in an alliance with hibiscus blossom and Bulgarian rose. The base notes are Himalayan cedar, a natural skin scent accord, sandal and incense.

Tender powdery Top Notes of freesia, peach skin, peony and Musk lead to floral heart of White Flowers, Ylang-Ylang and Rose. The base is woodsy transparent with coffee and Incense touches. The perfume was created by Olivier Cresp in 1998.
