SANGC site Herns Handbook including the section on irregular or damaged dies. Visited Randburg Coin and Gold Reef City Mint to enquire about the coin.   No trace or knowledge of this error was found throughout this research.   That's why the coin was advertised ' As the only 1 known' font-size: large; line-height: 21px

 Reference: Hern 318a Issued reportedly as a Pay Check between 1906 and 1912,this Uniface brass Token from Swakopmund in German Southwest Africa is a very scarce item and according to my 10 year-old version of  Herns Handbook on Tokens, 2009 edition,it catalogues at R5250 in VF condition. The Token on offer appears to have survived in a very decent collectible condition with very detailed lettering visible and with no obvious wear and just  a few minor stains.I would grade this as at least VF or better.
