As a musician I was actually impressed by the quality of the game and the way in which it actually teaches you very basic music-related stuff like timing and hand-eye coordination (especially on the drums). There was a point at which I played this game more often than actual instruments. My Xbox broke and I haven't tried this out in a while, but everything was working fine when I last used it.
