One of a kind original vintage 1930's, NSDAP Ortsgruppe Westend Ortsfrauenschaftsleitung sign from the office of Magda Goebbels! All advertising signs I have on offer are from the period, they are not the cheap reproductions that are floating around everywhere these days. These are the real McCoy! Most of them come from my grandfather's collection, they were one of his great passions. History of this piece: Magda Goebbels (born Behrend) joined the Nazi movement in 1930 after listening to Josef Goebbels at a Nazi party rally. She became a member of the NS-movement in Berlin-Westend and soon led the local branch of the NSDAP Women's Section (Westend Ortsfrauenschaftsleitung). This is the sign that hung at her office until German capitulation and her subsequent suicide on May 1st 1945. Only one sign hung at that office, my grandfather knew - he was there.......T his is an incredible piece in great condition, nicely curved, some rust along the edges. Size: 50 x 36 cm Weight: 2.5 kg Pictures are of the actual item up for auction. Please take a close look at all the photographs, they say more than a thousand words.   Please note that in some cases there might be slight color variations between the actual item and my photographs.   Shipping: Option 1) South African Post Office: FREE Option 2) Fastway Couriers: FREE. 1558 EF - 45 Hungary, 1 Denar Coin (459 years old) The reverse depicts a classical Madonna and Child(the virgin Mary and baby Jesus) scene, typical of the period. With the legend: "PATRONA VNGARIE" The obverse depicts the coat of arms with the date above, inscription is "FERDINAND DGR VNG 1558". Ferdinand was born on 10 March 1503 in Alcala de Henares, 40 km from Madrid, the son of the Infanta Joanna of Castile (1479–1555), the future Queen of Castile known as Joanna the Mad, and Habsburg Archduke Philip the Handsome (1478–1506), Duke of Burgundy and future King of Castile, who was heir to Emperor Maximilian I. Ferdinand shared his birthday with his maternal grandfather Ferdinand II the Catholic, King of Aragon. Charles entrusted Ferdinand with the government of the Habsburg hereditary lands, roughly modern-day Austria and Slovenia. In 1531 Ferdinand was elected King of the Romans, making him Charles's designated heir as emperor. Ferdinand deputised as ruler during his brother's many absences from imperial lands. After Charles's abdication as emperor in 1556, which was not formal until 1558, Ferdinand assumed the title of Holy Roman Emperor, Charles having agreed to exclude his own son, Philip, from the German succession, which instead passed to Ferdinand's eldest son Maximilian II (1527–1576).
