Introduction: Step onto the pitch and play professional football your way in FIFA 09. Experience the most authentic football simulation EA SPORTS™ has delivered as you live the fantasy of playing as a professional footballer and customise the game to suit your style and ability. Powered by the third generation of the EA SPORTS football engine, FIFA 09 features more than 250 core gameplay additions and enhancements that deliver the most responsive, intelligent and realistic action ever for the series. Enjoy turning defenders with more controlled dribbling and ball control, snapping off precision shots with improved first-time shooting mechanics and firing beautifully timed passes with greater accuracy, placing the ball exactly where you want it. With new player momentum physics the speed and weight of the player determines everything from the distance of a slide tackle and the power of a header to the severity of player collisions and the height of a player's jump. Plus, players now behave according to their physical attributes with larger, stronger players dominating collisions, battles for control of the ball, and position in challenges for two player headers. FIFA 09 features new Custom Team Tactics that gives you all the tools to become a first-team coach. For the first time, go inside the game engine to customise the positioning and support play of your teammates and decide exactly how your team will play in any situation. Now you are the player, coach and manager! You have the power to adjust and customise tactical settings so CPU players and your team perform just like the real-world team plays or how you think it should play. Save your tactics and then make strategic decisions to exploit your opponent's weaknesses, all on-the-fly. Now there is nothing stopping you from living your dream and proving yourself as a professional player through the popular feature innovation — Be A Pro — now expanded to include a career mode and the ability to play with a team of up to 10 friends all playing fixed outfield positions. In Be A Pro: Seasons you pick or create a professional player and then develop his skills at a single outfield position with the ultimate goal of becoming a national legend. In Be A Pro: 10 vs 10 Online Team Play FIFA 09 will change the way sports games are played online by becoming the first sports franchise to enable up to 20 individuals playing fixed positions to play a single game at the same time. Instead of thinking as an individual player now you have to think and play as a team. FIFA 09 delivers a new level of authenticity. The matchday experience is now true-to-life with a referee and assistants. Plus, crowds, stadium atmosphere, and commentary have all been regionalised in exacting detail and 15 new stadiums added. Features: Polished, refined gameplay - Featuring 250 additions and enhancements to core gameplay, including new animation technology that creates more responsive first-time shooting and passing, faster and more controlled dribbling, and improved trapping, and new player momentum physics that delivers realistic player collisions, authentic jostling for the ball, and more variation in tackling. Title: Victory Goal Platform: Sega Saturn Region: NTSC-J Condition: Disc only in CD Case – Good Condition   Victory Goal is a Japanese football game developed by Team Aquila exclusively for the Sega Saturn. It was Team Aquila's first creation as a sub-department of Sega AM6, and the first in the Victory Goal series. Being released in 1995, it also stands as one of the first 3D football games, though the players are represented as 2D sprites. Victory Goal was announced alongside the Saturn in early 1994, under the working title of Virtua Soccer. However, it is only assumed Virtua Soccer became Victory Goal - in this early incarnation, only simple demo footage was shown (as was the case for Clockwork Knight, Daytona USA and Panzer Dragoon - only Virtua Fighter was partially playable), with no specific details on the team listings. Contrary to popular belief, Victory Goal was a Japanese exclusive, featuring teams from the Japanese J. League. Its engine would be adapted and J. League teams replaced with international teams in Sega International Victory Goal. Victory Goal is hence sometimes referred to as J. League Victory Goal to make the distinction.

This is Football 2004 (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information All-new gameplay; new passing and shooting systems Career Mode Improved transfer market Improved graphics including 300 uniquely modelled heads New stadia Huge competition structure--30 international divisions World Cup and Euro Cup competitions Over 900 teams in total For 1-8 players (multitap(s) required for 3-8) Product Description Platform: PlayStation2 Manufacturer: Sony Genre: sports-and-oudoors-games Review If there's one thing you can't fault This Is Football 2004 on, it's scope. While other PlayStation 2 football titles are happy to concentrate on national and international teams, here the beautiful game is taken right down to grass roots, allowing you (if you wish) to seize control of a local team. You do that as part of the best feature in the game: the career mode. Here, you really can go from the very bottom to the very top, and it adds a challenging long term goal to the proceedings. It's just one example of where the game differs from the opposition, and there are plenty more. For instance, you can also try and blatantly blag a penalty by diving in the area. You can get penalised for handball. You can even take it online and test your skills. In short, there's plenty going on. TIF 2004 's downfall though is that it's simply not as slick, fluid and downright playable as the competition. Both FIFA Football 2004 and especially Pro Evolution Soccer 3 offer a much more succulent marriage of gameplay and presentation than This Is Football 2004 can muster, and that does cloud its otherwise welcome merits somewhat. A mixed bag in all then. What This Is Football 2004 lacks in polish and style, it does compensate for when it comes to ideas and innovations. And if nothing else, it's testament to the quality of choice gamers are presented with that a perfectly good and enjoyable game such as this struggles to find a foothold. As it stands, This Is Football 2004 is certainly worth a try, but shouldn't be your first port of call. -- Simon Brew

Introduction: From its humble origins on PSOne, the PES series has leaped from format to format, adding ever more realism as it evolved. This heritage has been celebrated in PES 2016's new tagline Love The Past, Play The Future', highlighting the series' recent return to core PES values in last year's PES 2015 and focusing on the many new gameplay and presentational elements that will further establish the series as the definitive football experience. PES 2016 aims to retain its title of Best Sports Game', as voted across the world at games shows and by major media outlets in 2014, by continuing to lead the way in the recreation of The Beautiful Game'. The series aims to go back to its roots to create an exciting match between users, and proudly present PES 2016 to deliver quality gameplay following The Pitch is Ours' mantra. From further integration of the industry leading Fox Engine to bring the on-pitch action to life and the full commitment to centre the product around creating the best gameplay experience, to the full redevelopment of Master League, every facet of the game has been enhanced to deliver yet another outstanding product. UEFA EURO 2016 Pro Evolution Soccer Contains both the full PES 2016 game and UEFA EURO 2016 content. Features: Fresh Gameplay - Exciting advancements reaffirming the PES series as having the No.1 gameplay: Advanced Collision System - The physicality of the modern game has been realised in PES 2016 with a significantly improved collision system, calculating how players interact, creating a unique outcome depending on type of impact. Aerial Strength - With the new physicality system, aerial battles are a completely unique experience this year. Use the left stick to battle the opposition to disrupt a larger more powerful player, or find the best position to make the header/volley. 1v1 Control - In PES 2016 the 1v1 player control have been enhanced, offering a wide range of movements with the existing controls. Response times have been improved allowing players to manoeuvre in tight situations, which also benefits the upgraded feint moves that allow sudden directional change that can cause defenders to lose their balance. The 1 on 1 situations now offer a great leap in exciting table-turning outcomes. Just as the real pitch offers opportunities for those brave enough to perform, players can pull off precise action, flexibly manoeuvre and pull away from the defender. Technique and timing lead to the defender to lose his balance, and creates great chances just as you pictured. Perfect Defence - Performing a tackle at the perfect time will powerfully shove the player out of the way to secure the ball. The ball will immediately be yours, creating direct turnarounds and counter opportunities. Intelligent Player AI - 2-3 player combination play will be available by the improved concept of team strategy, which depends on the type of tactic you set for your team. Players no longer are reliant on manually triggering a 1-2, with teammates intelligently running off passes into space. Goal Keeper ID - In a bid to improve quality and add unique individuality in performance, new goal keeper parameters have been added, that now vary in Catching, Clearance, Collapsing and Deflecting. This adds character to the players, who you can count on catching the ball rather than punching, or are better at stopping close range shots. Celebration Control - New for the series, players have full control over goal celebrations to maximize their excitement when scoring! Prompts appear after a goal to trigger a trademark celebration, or unique actions at the press of a button. Fundamental Changes - New significant improvements across key modes and features: New Master League - The famous and hugely popular Master League sees a total revamp, allowing users to immerse themselves in the managerial world of soccer. Every element has been redesigned or reworked, from the vibrant and involving menus to the new and exciting player transfer system, PES 2016 see one of the series most integral modes redefine the single player experience. New Visuals - Incorporating the many advancements of the Fox Engine the visuals have seen a huge upgrade. See the rain splash as players slide in to win possession, or the turf kick up as you strike the ball into the top corner. New night-time lighting and real turf textures add to some of the many improvements. Dynamic Weather - For the first time in the PES series, dynamic weather has been introduced, with the chance of rain starting during the game. Combined with the ever more realistic ball physics, the rain changes how the game can be played with passes speeding up, and players less skilled to struggle with trapping. The defender taken by the 1 on 1 will be covered with pitch blades by slipping and falling. This feature is applied to all offline modes including the Master League, becoming an important element to decide the outcome of the match. Human Motion - Seeking to humanize player movement, 3x new animations have been added to bring the in-game superstars to life. Goalkeepers have seen an abundance of save animations added, while outfield players shoot, pass, dribble and tackle in a countless variety depending on the situation. Players complain when a foul isn't given, or lament a teammate when a pass isn't made when in open space. The new 1v1 control also benefits from this, with players being able to fool their opponents with shimmies and feints that can result in causing the opposing player to lose his balance and fall in the wrong direction! New Ball Physics - The past few years has seen the series make huge advancements in ball physics, and for PES 2016 new levels of realism have been reached. Each spin, bobble and ricochet has been calculated using real ball physic data, helping keep every moment in every game unique and unpredictable. Quality Improvements - Many important elements are upgraded per fan feedback: myClub - Since the launch of the mode in PES 2015, myClub has been updated on a weekly basis, and now have been further improved based on user feedback for PES 2016. The enhancement will introduce player level systems, and players exclusive to the mode. Use GP acquired through matches or myClub coins to experience realistic club management combined with players to strive to be stronger in your squad. Choose the manager, consider coaches, and build the strategy based on what you aim with your team. Build Your Team, Create Your legacy! Dynamic Wide Camera Angle - The new angles give you a larger field of view, allowing you to better plan and adjust your players to compete in aerial battles, or see the intelligent runs being made thanks to Intelligent Player AI. Depending on where the ball is on the pitch, the camera will tilt and zoom in/out to make sure the user has the best view possible during the match. Commentary - New commentators have been introduced for both UK and Germany, with Peter Drury and Marco Hagemann joining the PES team. An abundance of new lines and specific stories have been recorded dedicated for Master League, responding to player transfers, player growth and team performance. PS4 Image Importing

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS3) Platform: PlayStation 3 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Description Key to PES 2008 is a proprietary adaptive AI system entitled Teamvision. Unique to the Konami game Teamvision is a sophisticated AI programming that learns and adapts according to an individual's style of play. As such it will learn new ways to build attacks and to counter specific movements and previous attacking or defensive errors ensuring games are more in line with the tactical but flowing nature of the real thing. With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid realistic gameplay the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996 the ball is again treated as a separate entity with the timing of shots entirely down to the player while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly distribution of passes works along the same lines with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space. Working in conjunction with the Teamvision system every aspect of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008's on-field play has been reworked and fine-tuned to create the balanced and strategic play of a high stakes match. Set-pieces have been improved with full control given over the number of players and the position of the defensive wall. A wider range of set piece options are also available to make use of specific talents within the team. Player detail has been taken to incredible levels with full facial animation and the high-definition detail afforded by the hardware used to show full movement and subtle details to the various kits during the course of a match. All 'Next Gen' versions will also benefit from an extensive Edit mode allowing gamers to customise their PES experience.
