It is a historical and legal successor of Kyiv Military Hospital, which was created according to the decree of the Senate of Medical Office on June 10, 1755, at the request of the governor of Kyiv. Annually 45 scientific conferences are conducted on the base of the hospital. Every year in Ukraine, CIS and Europe a series of scientific papers and new collections of doctors researches are prepared for publishing, and 3-4 thesises are defended. A large part of the medical staff has extensive experience in health care in peacekeeping operations in many countries: Yugoslavia, Lebanon, Liberia, Iraq, Sierra Leone, and Afghanistan. The hospital is constantly drawn to the medical support of visits of top government officials of foreign countries, military parades, international exercises, verification, and so on. The hospital works with the organizers of the European Football Championship "Euro 2012" in a separate program.
