FIFA 12 PS3  GAME FIFA 12 brings to the pitch the game-changing new Player Impact Engine, a physics engine built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Experience the way real-world footballers challenge each other for the ball, win possession, and test each other physically. Enjoy an infinite variety of natural and believable outcomes in every collision. Players feel more resilient, push and pull during the fight for possession, and recover from light challenges more easily. Revolutionary gameplay innovations make FIFA 12 deeper and more engaging. All-new Precision Dribbling creates a higher fidelity of touch on the ball for better control in tight spaces, more time to make decisions on attack, and more control over the pace of the game. Innovations in attack are balanced by a re-designed defending mechanism, making it as skilful and meaningful as real-world football. With all-new Tactical Defending, positioning and intercepting passes are as important as tackling. Tactics and timing are crucial. Plus, CPU players have been infused with Pro Player Intelligence, a self-awareness that enables them to behave and make decisions based on their own skills and tendencies, and gives them the aptitude to understand the strengths and weaknesses of teammates in every situation. Introducing EA SPORTS Football Club—the heartbeat of FIFA 12—a live service connecting players to the real-world game with fresh, new content all the time, enabling them to support their favourite club and connect and compete with their friends, rivals and millions of other players around the world. Additional features will be revealed in the months ahead. SOME SCREEN SHOTS OF THIS GREAT GAME:    CONDITION OF THE GAME: DISC: A: EXCELLENT/LIKE NEW. 2002 FIFA World Cup (PS2) Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New Other versions of this game available from us: Platform: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition copies available Product Information Features official FIFA World Cup insignia, mascots and the 20 new World Cup stadiums in Japan and Korea Includes all the World Cup star players' looks and playing styles New gameplay delivers intuitive one-button headers, volleys, scissor kicks, juggling, and more New stadium environments and player-to-player animations New camera angles and replays; key dramatic moments highlighted Tournament Mode--seven-game series beginning with round-robin play, followed by playoffs leading to the final match Product Description The only football game licensed to use the official 2002 FIFA World Cup insignia and mascots, and the 20 new World Cup stadiums in Japan and Korea, promises to capture all the excitement of the tournament. Teams will be met with a rising tide of crowd excitement with thousands of fans sporting team colours, country-specific chants, and an explosion of special effects including lasers, confetti, streamers and flags. 2002 FIFA World Cup is based around a seven-game series beginning with round-robin play, followed by playoffs leading to the final match with a progressive story line and a rising intensity as you advance; you'll find lifelike representations of all the star players, combined with the exceptional individual talents that characterise their style of play in real life. Accessible new gameplay delivers intuitive one-button headers, volleys, scissor kicks, juggling and more. Showboating and high-tempo, high-impact play is straightforward from the first touch of the ball, and new player-to-player animations result in aggressive jostling for the ball both on the ground and in the air. Key dramatic moments during the tournament are highlighted by epic cinematics--player animations, original scores by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and special effects underscore the emotional range of play with increasing intensity as games become more important. New camera angles and replays capture the intensity of World Cup games as they dramatise nearly missed shots, fouls and goals by focusing on players' facial animations as they grimace and fall to their knees in frustration or pump their fists and cheer in celebration of a goal. Review Determined to squeeze every last ounce out of the FIFA licence, Electronics Arts have released yet another footy sim for the PS2--and oddly enough it concerns the World Cup. Taking the essence of FIFA 2002 and modifying it for the world's greatest tournament, EA have restricted the scope of the game, offering only two modes of play (full tournament and friendly) and the 32 teams which are taking part in the tournament. That said, it still plays the same as its older brother and the look and feel given by the inclusion of the new stadia and enhanced sound effects really brings the game to life. Owners of the full-fat 2002 game will want to think very seriously before paying out for this "special" release, but for those who've not come across the franchise before, or those looking for a break from Pro Evolution Soccer, this game has entertainment by the sackload. Graphically it looks the business and the pre-match build-ups are eye candy to please any jaded palette. In-game, too, the player graphics are nicely detailed and there are some wonderful individual animations covering all manner of complex looking moves, swerves and dives. In fact, the only thing that really lets the side down is the speed of the game during more hectic midfield moments, when the framerate stutters appallingly--a little poor for a game that's been through so many development revisions. Control is nice and simple and it's a breeze to pick this title up and start booting the pigskin around the park within a couple of minutes, though mastering the finer points of ball control and the elusive "lob in" will take a good deal longer. 2002 FIFA World Cup really does have a lot going for it. It's not as technical as the ISS games, and it doesn't have the scope or gameplay modes of FIFA 2002, but it does have atmosphere by the bucketload. If you've a newcomer to the franchise or you've missed the last couple of major releases then it's certainly worth a l" "

2002 FIFA World Cup (Xbox) Platform: Xbox Condition: New This Title Also Available As: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Product Information Features official FIFA World Cup insignia, mascots and the 20 new World Cup stadiums in Japan and Korea Includes all the World Cup star players' looks and playing styles New gameplay delivers intuitive one-button headers, volleys, scissor kicks, juggling, and more New stadium environments and player-to-player animations New camera angles and replays; key dramatic moments highlighted Tournament Mode--seven-game series beginning with round-robin play, followed by playoffs leading to the final match Product Description With 16 of the best leagues and over 75 national teams, FIFA 2002 brings the game of the world to your fingertips. You will execute curling corner kicks, awesome slide tackles, shots from the top of the box, crunching challenges and palm-wringing penalty kicks. Amoung the major enhancements to this version is the passing system--the core of any real soccer (football) game. It now emulates the same decisions made in a real match. Being able to place the ball anywhere on the field of play allows gamers an immensely increased repertoire in terms of building up plays. Your team mates now make long up-field runs, diagonal runs through the midfield and across the back of the opponent's defence. They'll call for the ball as they break letting you know to pass into the space ahead of them. The AI has also been totally re-written. It searches for space and key weaknesses in your team's positioning, and will make off-the-ball runs and build up intelligent passing plays before striking a precise through ball behind your last line. Depending on the difficulty level, the AI will be a much more interesting and challenging opponent than in previous versions. This is Football 2002 Platform: PlayStation2 Condition: New This Title Also Available As: Pre-Owned/Used: Very Good Condition games available Please get in touch for information on these options. Product Information New leagues and teams including English Division 1 New special moves including chip/lob shot, dummy passes plus new shimmies and feints New shooting system Timewarp League: historically-authentic teams from the 50s, 60s and 70s Domestic Tournaments, (UEFA Cup), World Club Cup, Euro Super League All-new commentary Product Description This product has passed our meticulous quality checks and is guaranteed to be in great condition. You can buy from us with confidence. Review The previous two incarnations of This is Football have failed to break the footie-game hegemony enjoyed by EA's FIFA and Konami's ISS, despite being a very playable hybrid of the two series. TIF 2002 may finish higher up the video-game league this season though, as it's the first of the big Xmas football games to be released and soccer-loving PS2 owners in desperate need of a fix will seize gratefully on the first decent representation of the beautiful game this year. In gameplay terms not much has changed since the last version; This is Football is still a fast-flowing, end-to-end arcade romp rather than a considered simulation, though there are hidden strategic depths to discover as you negotiate the four difficulty settings. Strategies and goal scoring moves learnt from TIF 1 & 2 still work--the sprint down the touchline followed by an in-swinging cross to the far post usually results in a goal (provided you have a half-way decent striker). The new TIF also offers real player names (no Michael Orin nonsense) and likenesses--though this becomes less accurate as you descend down the leagues (yes, this time you can play as Port Vale!) and the players become more obscure. There are a limited number of stadia offered, but these too are lovingly realised. In fact, on the eye-candy front, TIF will be hard to beat this year. The slick presentation and accessible gameplay coupled with the wealth of leagues available (Jumpers For Goalposts is back) should ensure that, for one season at least, the race for the video-game championship should be a three-horse race. At the very least TIF 2002 qualifies for Europe. -- Michael Bartley
