Swellen2 Farm Lodge where birds abound, targets groups to breakaway with friends and family knowing the kids are entertained and safe. Alternatively celebrate a child's birthday for a weekend. An occupational therapy practice has opened its doors on our property with specialized indoor stimulation equipment and an outdoors play venue with a host of attractions plus a small coffee shop. We will rent out the entire Lodge plus use of the outdoor venue (free) to a group of 10 adults minimum. Kids 10 and younger are accommodation free and we invite them to join us at feeding time for egg collection and petting of animals. We offer a 10 roomed en-suite log cabin sleeping 32 (maximum adults 25) adjacent to the Klippe River 2kms from Swellendam. The Lodge has a fully self-catering communal kitchen which caters comfortably to our maximum and a lounge with DSTV. Two large braai areas overlook the river - one is an undercover lapa/boma. We are blessed with 7 hectares of property with lots of space for the kids to cycle. Coco the Welsh pony is available for the kids to ride on supervised at a very reasonable charge.
