 WW2 German - Hauptmann der Polizei (Orpo) / SS - Police Regiment Epaulette. This item is 100 % AUTHENTIC & an ideal collector's item for any World War II German militaria enthusiast. The epaulette is in GOOD CONDITION, having retained the silver braid and gold coloured rank pips of Captain or Hauptmann in the Ordnungspolizei.  Members of the Ordnungspolizei  (Orpo) were often drafted into service or seconded to assist regular Waffen -SS infantry formations during the later years of the war. Antique Sparton 557 "Sled" radio. On offer is this original Art Deco masterpiece from the 1930's. Radio is not working with the power and connecting cords cut. The cabinet is in original condition with normal ageing and scuff marks. On the front left there is a small chip in the wood. Mirroring and panels are original and show signs of aging. There is a chip on the left back corner of the glass. Chrome fins are original and in good condition. Except for the 3 knobs, the speaker and all other components seems to be original. This is an opportunity for the enthusiast or collector to aquire this iconic radio of which there are not many left in the world. Price was R55 000, now R 30 000, or make me an offer.
