  1994 24ct GOLD  1oz  PROOF COIN NELSON MANDELA - PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION The coin was issued for the Inauguration of President Mandela in Pretoria in 1994. The coin in the white presentation box was issued to the attendees at the Inauguration Ceremony held for Nelson Mandela. The coins issued in the White Attendee Boxes are regarded as being more scarce than the normal SA Mint red box issues. The amount of these special issues that were given to the attendees is not known.
