Elephant Back Riding - Riding is an opportunity to experience elephants from a different perspective and is conducted in a boma. It is not a safari experience. (Only for the fit and adventurous). Calypso LHT A lot can be said about Elephant Interaction programs. I feel that the Elephants need to be able to roam freely in a natural environment and they need to be happy. They can eat when they want to and stand in the shade when they wish. The family is still a unit with mother and calf very much part of the program.
