Please tell your friends about these wonderful gift ideas and get involved by contacting us on email:  hopeart@zam.co.za. Your participation will fill many hearts with hope. Goals of the Hope Art Project Raising funds for the Zambia Project. Investing 100% of our net profits in the Zambia Project allows for long-term sustainable care for the orphans and vulnerable women in Western Zambia. Providing income through entrepreneurial development. This is a sustainable approach to poverty eradication where Zambians build their skills and long-term capacities through meaningful creative work. How Hope Art Started We were desperate to start a village where we could care for more orphans and vulnerable children, so we cried out to God, asking for His guidance. God responded with one word: ¿Art¿. Through His prompting and guidance we then launched Hope Art in July 2009. We encouraged the local people to embrace the orphan situation and get involved. In response to this challenge, a group of unemployed women from Hope Church, volunteered to help. Artists from South Africa agreed to visit us in Zambia and teach these women how to make some arts and crafts. We were hoping to be able to sell these and make a profit to help fund our village for orphans. There is also a paper beads craft project, which was an absolute hit and soon the women were able to receive an income instead of just volunteering their time. When Hope Art first started, we had no facilities to care for the kids besides a tent. Today, we run a centre for malnourished children, a school for vulnerable children, and house orphans that have nowhere else to live! Visit www.hopeart.co.za for more information on the project, other craft items you can purchase or to get more involved in this project. Thank you for supporting this very important initiative by purchasing one of the Hope Art products!

Our fragrances are a flawless equivalent to the original.   About this fragrance: This is DKNY's first fragrance to address environmental and global issues. The floral fragrance for women is in partnership between care and the indigenous people of Uganda. The scent features vanilla from Uganda, and part of the proceeds will be donated to the women of Uganda to help them break the cycle of poverty by calling attention to the need for education, and jobs. Top notes are Ugandan vanilla, dewdrop floral petals, lotus and Bulgarian rose. Heart notes are a floral bouquet of exotic blossoms - jasmine, freesia and orchid. Base notes are slightly translucent and feature white amber, sandalwood and vanilla in water. The packaging- from the bottle to the outer container are recyclable. The perfume focuses on a single ingredient, which is the key to the whole composition – Ugandan vanilla. The project around this fragrance was designed and triggered in cooperation with CARE, which sources this unique, creamy sort of vanilla. The company's CEO stated:“CARE is excited to partner with PureDKNY on an initiative that will support women in Uganda, while also educating U.S. consumers about the important role women play in breaking the cycle of global poverty”. The project with DKNY is the latest achievement of the company and it will enable Ugandan women to work, educate and provide for their families. The fragrance opens with Ugandan vanilla, dewdrop floral petals, lotus and Bulgarian rose. A heart beats in rhythm of exotic flowers - jasmine, freesia and orchid, while a base finishes the pure composition with white amber, sandalwood and vanilla in water.
