First World War - Maitland Tank Corps Helmet Plate or Cap Badge - Very scarce. The "C" of  the badge is shaped in the outline of a tank. The badge is made out of thin brass plate. This service was later renamed to the Royal Navy Armoured Car Service. The size of the badge is 41 cm. wide and 48 cm. high.
