This is accomplished by committing hundreds of unsavoUry acts, from simple car-jacking to complex missions assigned by the city's crime lords. Eventually the cops become wise to your evil deeds and hunt you down, which adds an extra layer to the gameplay. The problems with this conversion are numerous. City streets that should be teeming with traffic are mostly bare. It's difficult even to find a car to steal, and actually driving the ungainly beasts is even harder due to poor turning-radiuses and a terrible control scheme. Die-hard fans of the original might like this, but everyone else should opt for the superior PlayStation or PC versions. --T. Contrary to the serious approach of Gran Turismo 3, this is foot-to-the-pedal stuff, and tremendously good fun to play.
