Maxi's Palace is situated in Flamingo Vlei. Open 7 days a week, as well as over the festive season. We provide a home away from home stay experience for your dogs. We only specialise in small and medium breeds (Apologies, but we need to keep the little ones safe at all times). No kennels or staying outside. All the fur-children sleep indoors in their beds. We also socialise them with other dogs of similar temperament and size. We do only take on a small number of dogs, so they always get one on one attention and are always supervised. Besides having a lovely lush garden to play around in, with Mom and Dad's permission the dogs are taken on quiet beach walks and other exciting activities during their stay with Maxi's Palace. We are looking for a new home for our little boy, Jhandre. He is a very shy dog & unfortunately doesn't fit in with our other Cocker Spaniel. We tried giving him some time to fit in but with no success. He is always on his own mission, hardly ever playing & mingling with her nor us & we noticed he is the kind of dog that wants to be the only doggy & needs all the attention alone. He is more the kind of dog for an elderly person who wants that companion lying by their feet all day & as we are the outgoing, camping & fishing family which he dislikes, that life would feel like heaven to him!:-)

Bruno is a gorgeous small size male cross breed, and isn't he just too cute!? He was dropped at the shelter by his owner, who was not particularly phased... She simply stated "We are moving and can't take it with". To us this is incredibly heartbreaking, especially seeing that Bruno is obviously missing his owner who just discarded him like an unwanted item. To make up for everything, we try and give Bruno all the love and attention we possibly can! Little Bruno seems like quite an outgoing boy and he just soaks up every bit of love you give him! He enjoys playing and going for walks. Bruno has a super cute face with his floppy little ears and "doggy smile" and will brighten anyone's day! This really is a truly special little dog. Socks is around 1 year old and is sterilised. She is very lovable, she would absolutely adore having a family of her own to love. She is called Socks because of her white feet. She is an active doggy though and will require training to not jump up. Perhaps not small kids because of her jumping up. She literally is focusing on getting love and attention from you. So someone that is looking for a very lovable and loyal doggie, Socks would be perfect for you! To the visitors at the shelter, she is one of the favourites because she is so adorable and loving. She is good with other dogs. All our dogs are living in a big pack. They are used to other dogs and all of them are socialized. On the 6.
